Since bacon is basically animal protein, the food also contains some nutrients such as selenium, phosphorus, iron, zinc, potassium, magnesium, and vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, and B12. Based on its rich essential minerals and vitamins, bacon might theoretically seem like one of the best human foods to feed your dog. But in reality, this is not the case.
